In the world of books, most books are birthed, put on the market and end up on the “sale rack” somewhere within a two year period. Of course the words within never die even though they may lie on some dusty shelf for decades before the author’s story or timeless principle is suddenly infused into the heart of some present day reader.
Neo-Phariseeism is over a decade old as of this sixth printing and strikingly refuses to die a natural death even though it did not have the usual tools of editing, promotion, marketing and distribution that most books are provided. Yet it has found its way mostly by word of mouth through-out America as well as into many foreign countries of the world! Why? Simply because some books contain messages that are deposited on an evolving time-line because of various political or religious attempts to suppress them. Ten years ago I wrote about the power of timeless truth in the book you are about to read when I said, “Truth, if it is truth, by its very nature can be scrutinized and examined under the most powerful microscopes and it will still be truth. Truth does not fear debate, inquiry and honest questions. Paul said we can do nothing against the truth. Only error and tradition fear observation, examination and analysis.” So do not think yourself as being disloyal to a religious point of view in reading this book. You are probably only doing what you were taught to do and that is placing someone’s truth under a microscope so that you can judge the content for yourself. This process can bring a sense of greater understanding accompanied by peace and freedom. The words of Christ are still relevant; “You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32 KJV)
Because of the continuing demand, I have decided to reprint this book again for those whose time of spiritual insight is now rather than ten years ago. I realize that the text has not been grammatically updated but when a book has a destiny to provide life changing epiphanies for so many readers, you could say that the force of the message and the spirit in which it is delivered always trumps the proper arrangement of the ever changing “Kings English.” In the final analysis, although the words are mine, He who is called the “King of Kings,” delivered a message to your humble servant, who then echoed that message with the passion and glee of a prisoner set free. It is my sincere hope that He will do the same for you.
